I am a third-year MFA student at the School of Film at Ohio University. For my thesis, I decided to tackle a feature-length documentary about high school wrestling in Iowa. For the next six months, I'll be in central Iowa, filming as much as I can, as I follow two wrestlers through the season all the way to the state championship.
As I go along, I am also posting updates to the project website... http://wrestlingwithiowa.com
Besides interviews and other clips from the production in progress, I'll also be posting extras about the process of shooting a documentary (mostly solo to start) and the gear that I am using.
