It would help if you listed the model# of the fixture. My guess is that with an XLR connector, its a battery operated light. If the globe 12v or 30v? Are you looking for a way to run it, "as is" on 120vac? If so, you need a transformer to step down the line voltage to either 12 or 24 volts. To size the transformer correctly you need to know the wattage of the globe.
