2.40:1 Extraction from Super 16mm

I am wondering if anyone has done a 2.40:1 extraction from Super 16mm. I realize this is something typically done only in Super 35, but I am pursuing this possibility due to a limited budget.

I am not interested in shooting anamorphic--I want to do an extraction. Does anyone make a ground glass for this? If so, who makes it and for what camera(s).

Your help is greatly appreciated!

I am sure Panavision could make a ground glass for that if they don't have one already. Arri makes custom ground glasses as well, so that could be an option.

The question is how your post will be done. If this is for a video finish, extracting 2.40 is not a real big deal. To my knowledge, there is no clear way to keep things strictly photo-chemical.

The post process will involve a DI and then outputting to a D5 deck for the final format.

Does anyone have contact info for the right person to talk to here in LA at Panavision and/or Arri to talk about getting ground glass made?

Thanks!
