    I've been reading a bit about digital intermediates lately. To sum it up, it seems that the DI stays at the post house for color grading only. Is there a way to get a DI and take it to where I am going to edit it and do my compositing and then take the final back to get recorded out to film? And...

    If I shoot on color negative and then have the original telecined and then inverse the picture while editing, and then make my edl... is that just as good as having a work print made and have telecine done with the work print?

    Is there a way that once the telecined image is in the computer to eliminate the frame pull down so that when I create my EDL my original negatives conform correctly and so that the sound that I edit to the picture in the computer synchs up correctly?

    I understand how you go from film to digital to edit in the computer... but how do you go from the final cut on the computer back out to film? I don't understand anything about cutting the neg either. Any help is great. Jacob
