Export Animation in Maya to AVI

Hello!

I have a little problem... I've made an animation in Maya, and want the animation in AVI or MPEG. I've readed that it is best to render frames per frames, and output them as Targa (tga), and use VirtualDub to convert them to AVI. But after I convert them to AVI, they don't work in Pinnacle Studio 10.

I want my animations in AVI, then import them in Pinnacle Studio 10.
Anyone know how i can fix that problem?

Thanks :)

Thanks for your reply!

Yes, they works great before I import. But they doesn't work in Pinnacle. It works also great in vdub.

Hi!,

I'm pretty sure you can directly import tga sequences in pinnacle.

Anyway, in VitualDub press ctrl+p and try with different codecs, one of them that will not fail is uncompressed, but the file size it produces is big. :)

Hello!

I've got a problem with rendering in Maya 7.
I just want to render my animation, so I can use it in Pinnacle Studio 10 as a movie. But how?

Many says that I should render frames per frames as a Targa (tga) file, and convert it to another type. But what type?

Like I said, I just want to have my animation in Pinnacle Studio 10 as a movie. But I need to know how.

Can someone please help me here?

Thanks.
