ZOMBIE EYES

Hey guys,

I have a zombie short that i will be filming in the next month and I am doing my research about how to get the low opacity white cover on the eyes in post. I have scored myself some free contacts that will cover the eye colour leaving only the pupil.

Ok. So my question is this. How can I achieve this visual effect -- low opacity milky cover on the eyes of my zombie?

I have a few idea's myself but i was hoping for some fresh ones from somebody that knows his visual effects.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think it's been done practically in the grand days of the 16mm B-budgeted horror flick, hasn't it?

In AE, you could cover the pupils with a white circle and with a mask and blend mode (multiply), you could get it to work, provided you enjoy some serious motion-tracking render times.
