Where should I get my Camera???/

Hey Guys,
I am looking for either a Sony PD170 or something somewhat similar. Where should I get one at? I dont want to spend more than 1,000. I looked at expresscamera.com, but they sounded fishy.... What do you guys think?

Try eBay. Make sure you bid on it from someone who has sold at least 100 items or more and has a 98% positive rating.

The camera market is fully of dubious practices; so check sites like resellerratings.com for reviews of the various online stores before you buy. Personally I've found you're probably better off buying from a well-established and reputable dealer than trying to save a few bucks with a 'too good to be true' deal.

That said, I bought my first camcorder used from a guy who posted an ad in a London newspaper and it lasted a decade, so it can work out .

I went through Crutchfield to get my HV20. Fast delivery, customer service is good and you don't have to worry about whether you're getting scammed since they're a well known company.
