I am upgrading the server tonight. I might shut the forums off for a short time while I upload the data from MySQL. This is just so that when someone posts a long post it does not get lost when I shut down the current server.
The new sever specs are:
Dual AMD Opteron 270 (Dual-Core) Processors
4 GB RAM
3x 73 GB SCSI Hard Drives (146 GB Total Space)
RAID5 (striping)
adding 1000 GB Bandwidth
MySQL Live Backup Agent
All on a Fiber Hub
Incase you are not very familiar with servers. This is a fast server. Now let me see if we can do this switch without a glitch. :shock:
