Is anyone else captivated by his images?
He tells a luke warm story, tepid at best, but his scenes are imaginative and pretty cool.
My question is what would be necessary to produce similar results. I mean, what particular programs would be in play for such effects. I am starting to think that I should try to create something here in Houston and eliminate the need for outsourcing.
IOW, I want to build an fx house to work with my movies and need to know what to get for the artists.

There aren't that many schools for that here...
I tried, but no one answers the emails...
I haven't gotten a call back...

The software doesn't cost that much; I can pretty much include a small house in the budget for the whole film because of what I save on sfx and cameras and off the shelf software solutions.
