I agree with this wholeheartedly. Spielberg is at his worst when he has no limitations. When he's under the gun or doing something he doesn't have unlimited cash for, he makes better movies.

How we as filmmakers face adversity is what defines us in our choices.
 
I totally agree with you... When we don't have resources and bound to work in limits then we can not the produce the good quality things...

I think the quote:

If the story world has no rules, if the characters are not limited, opposed, or littered with inner and outer obstacles; if the quest does not have ever increasing setbacks on the road to his desire and a definable limited universe assumed around him, than drama and conflict fail.

Just my two cents.
