"Taken"

Definitely had some unbelieveable happenings, but the movie ("Taken") was so GREAT, that I did not care one single bit. I sat back saying, Go head, entertain me! This is a "movie," and therefore, fiction; and action movies are allowed some unbelieveable stuff. I think that unbelieveable events had to happen in order to artfully tell the story, and use abstractions and metaphors to communicate deeper meanings.

I could go and watch this a second time in the theatre...

Your thoughts and comments on the movie, "Taken"

Just wondering if anyone else here on the boards saw the movie, "Taken" in the theatres. What did you think? For me this is one of those movies that if you're going to watch it, better watch it in the theatre, so you can enjoy and get the full effect of all the action and drama on the big screen. Don't wait for DVD. Some action/drama movies are not as fun on DVD. I mean, if the movie is not firstly meant to be so serious and deep and profound, (although quite a few things in this movie do make you think about some serious issues happening in the world), then it's about how the movie hits on the action/thrill barometer.

Its a nice action movie and has a good flow throughout the movie. Liam Neeson has done an excellent work. It's not just a plain action movie, it has some emotional factor in it which has been perfectly shown.

A must watch movie. A perfect entertainment film. :-D
