I can’t put my finger on it but this argument seems problematic.

I agree, I understand giving the best person the job, a lot of countries make it near impossible to get into their unions and get good acting jobs for actors that don’t have clout behind their names and aren’t from the area. Where as America doesn’t regulate who can be in the union and has almost no restrictions. It would be nice to see our country look out for us and take a little better care of it’s own.
