stronger diopters for aaton xtr-prod

how do i correct the eyepiece in the xtr that i'm using to account for the -8.75 prescription in my right eye? please, no suggestions regarding contact lenses, i'm 34 and have worn glasses for 30 years, so believe me, i've tried contacts already. i just want to know whether i can fit an external diopter to the eyepiece, or whether i need to adjust the eyepiece itself.

I am not sure what you are using but my eyes are not perfect at all and I wear glasses and hate the thought of wearing contacts. I had the same questions for Roy Wagner, ASC. He told me it was not a problem without a solution and that i didn't really need to worry about it and I could use a diopter i beleiave is the term. just call a local rental house and ask about this. i am sure they will let you know what to do.
