Guys, I really need help. =[

Personally, I want something professional yet easy to handle and inexpensive ($800 range) with alot of features and things that truly help in filmmaking, but I don't want something that is super-set-up to cater to people who want to make some home video look 'sorta like' a film. I want something that makes a film really looks nice on its own natural system/lens merits = great lens, great internal sensors and system, and over-all something that makes a film look like this ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kow8OoOCm6Y&feature=related - view in HD ). On that video's specifications, it says it was shot on a Canon but then it also says something about a Nokia, so I'm confused there. I really like whatever this guy used!!!

Overall, the only thing that I've been able to find alot of info and reception about is the Vixia series for Canon, but the more I see videos on youtube shot with it, the more I think it makes videos look still 'homemade'. But is this camera truly the best option? (and does it have a plathora of settings that help make a video look better in detailed hands?), or is there something else that would overall give my works a bit softer, artistic look just based on the system's natural tone? It would be pretty cool if there was a camera designed to naturally make the film/video look overall very smooth and well, artistic, even if you were to just pick it up and go....but nothing that over-compensates and ends up making things look fake.

Can't really spend more than $800, and I'd shop on ebay, so feel free to suggest whatever is truly the best! I also want this camera to be one that would make a straight-to-dvd film look very nice and professional, I want a camera that will be able to stick with me through professional film projects and short videos. =D

I think what would best suit what you are looking for is to get a Canon T1i and some good lenses. A used T1i body can be found for around $500, you can find cheap lenses such as an 18-55mm f/4-5.6, 50mm 1.8, and 70-300 f/4-5.6 to hold you over until you can afford some good lenses.
