Hi all,
This post is an adjunct to a previous post regarding upgrading from a consumer camcorder. I took all of the great advice from that post and am now looking at the Sony for its HD feature. My budget again is around 2500.00.
Can anyone expand or comment on this particular camera or offer other options? The touch screen feature on this model somehow doesn't seem high end to me. Comments on this? I am pretty much a newbie at filmmaking and will be doing editorial type (a lot of available light stuff) pieces and some basic green screen corporate talking head vids for web.
From the description on the B&H site I can't tell if the HVR-A1U is 16:9 native. What is the difference between a one sensor and three sensor camera? Sorry for being like a bull in a china shop about this.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Best,
Dennis
