Does anyone attend or know a friend who attends Ryerson University here? I'm serious about being a director and is looking for a college/ university with lots of resources and good teachings. I heard from my teacher that Ryerson is inexpensive and has a really good reputation in film but I have not yet visited the school myself (I will go probably during the summer). Or does anyone know any other good and inexpensive film schools in Canada?
Also, I'm interested on how people make their films if they'd like to share. What i mean is I have been making a lot of shorts, most of them are o.k. technical-wise and have won some awards. However personally, I'm not satisfied with them because they lack good storylines. I have a very big concern in having a more-than-good (great) storyline but it just takes so long to develop one and somehow in high school it seems that you have to just make a lot of shorts and win awards to get recognized first.
