Does anyone attend or know a friend who attends Ryerson University here? I'm serious about being a director and is looking for a college/ university with lots of resources and good teachings. I heard from my teacher that Ryerson is inexpensive and has a really good reputation in film but I have not yet visited the school myself (I will go probably during the summer).
Also, I'm interested on how people make their films if they'd like to share. What i mean is I have been making a lot of shorts, most of them are o.k. technical-wise and have won some awards. However personally, I'm not satisfied with them because they lack good storylines. I have a very big concern in having a more-than-good (great) storyline but it just takes so long to develop one and somehow in high school it seems that you have to just make a lot of shorts and win awards to get recognized first.
