Hello all,
I am looking to upgrade from my little handheld Canon dc230 to a more profesional camera. I have been doing weeks of research looking at many different cameras and I must say I feel a bit overwhelmed. I have read many different things about solid state, mini DV, HDD mini DVD, and have read both the benifits and cons but would really like some input from someone who has gone through this search before. I have also read about the issues about editing with the different formats. I currently have Pinnacle Studio Plus 11 on my laptop which is a Dell Studio 15 with Windows 7. Also I have read about the difference regarding HD and SD cameras. I am including all of this because I have been on a number of forums before and I hate when someone comes expecting answers without doing some research and gives no info at all and I feel it makes it easier to come to a resolution when the information is there to begin with. I really feel overwhelmed with all of the information I am looking at and would greatly appreicate some help.
