We will be casting soon for a standard theatrical film. Our team is from South America and there are some cultural things that we are still trying to figure out. Our film is a Spring Break type film that deals with women's issues. There is going to be a lot of bikinis and bathing suits as well as nudity (not a crazy amount) for men and women. They are essential to certain parts of the film. Our basic question is how it is usually done in the US casting system (Brazil is pretty straight forward). I know Americans are a lot more sensitive to nude scenes especially for actors and actresses. We would love to bypass and just pick the people that stand out but we are looking for certain body types and with clothes these days it can do wonders to change how a figure will actually look. Anyway, any help or direction would be great.
