Prometheus is an entertaining sci-fi alien thriller that echoes some ideas of other sci-fi stories about scientists search for Aliens they believe possibly genetically engineered the human race. One of the crew is hoping to find immortality from the Gods and others just want answers to the age old questions of where we came from and the meaning of life stuff. I found it to have a pinch of Zombie in the mix when one of the crew gets torched to death at one point and then comes back to life. This movie has a lot of Continuity issues. I think maybe a better job could have been done by there but it was still an entertaining thought provoking two hours.
The 3D is good. It was used to enhance and enrich the story and I believe shot with Epics. I didn’t feel that 3D was used just to show off 3D that I get sometimes.
Overall, I think it could have been better in many ways but I am a hoping for a sequel to this Alien Prequel. I recommend seeing it in the theaters.
