pro camcorder 2-3000 pounds

i posted recently looking for a camera for 1500, but due to a change in circumstances this has now jumped up to 2-3000 pounds.

Im looking for suggestions on the best quality HD camcorder, for this price range..

your suggestions are welcome.

why would you want to get something that creates a lower quality image? The camera shoots cinematic quality HD footage.
