I'm starting the think the audio on my laptop(G1S) SUCKS HARD. I was messing with premiere pro, trying to make a clip from a movie, and I get NO SOUND. I don't know what to do, i fiddled with the options, everything looks ok....it just plays no sound...i don't know wtf to do. does anyone know what i might be able to do? I fixed my cakewalk problem by using MME drivers, but premiere doesn't have this option. I really don't want to have wasted all this money, so any help would be great.

sorry about that

• when i play ANY video in this program, there is sound coming out of my speakers. the video files work in my media player with sound, just not in premiere. when i try and "clip" the file and make it into another one, the process occurs, but the result is soundless.
