Playstation Commercials

Does anyone know who/how the Playstation commercials were done?

I am talking specifically about the commercials that are made to look like home video of people testing real life versions of exotic video game weapons (plasma ray, etc....)

I assume it is Shake or something...........but I would just love to know.

I'm very familiar with the commercials you're talking about,
although I do not know who is responsible for creating them, let alone the tools they used.

Ah yes the Ratchet and Clank commercials....I know my cousin worked on some PS commerical for Christopher Guest a while back but I'm pretty sure it wasn't that one. I'm assuming that no two commercials are made by the same people...well, maybe 2, but you know what I mean.
