panasonic nvgs 120 and FCP

hi all,

I'm preparing to edit some footage i shot on this camera. Can I use FCP? I seem to remember that FCP requires the source vehicle have firewire connectivity. The Panasonic nvgs has no firewire port. Can I upload footage from my camera and into my computer, running FCP, using an alternative. May seem like a ludicrous question and for that i apologise....but.

I just spent about 15 minutes trying to research your camera on Panasonic's website... but I cannot find it... what year is the camera? format? other info?

It claims to have a Firewire port (it's just called 'iLink' to avoid paying royalties to Apple for the Firewire name ).
