Opening/Closing Credits

I'm editing a short on Final Cut Studio 2. I was curious if anyone knew the best way to make my opening and closing credits. I know the simple way to do it but I would like them to look as good as they possibly can. Thanks.

usually, FCPs internal CGs suck but, if you need a good cinema style credit roll you can use the FCP title generator called "Scrolling Text."

A feature that most people dont know about with this generator is how to do that format where, let say you have the titles on the left and names on the right with a nice gap in the middle.

You can do this using the Scrolling Text generator by putting in your title and names with an asterick where you want the gap in the middle to be. for example:

director*elmer fudd
camera*mickey mouse

the astericks will show the plug in where the gap is to be then you can adjust the width of this gap.
