we are shooting a documentary and the university just lent us a Sony PD150, I have never used this camera before (I'm a still photographer) so there isn't a lot of time for testing...
Some questions about a still photographer moving to cinematography:
The DB GAIN, it's the same as ISO right? 0db = ISO100?
How is the high db/ISO quality on the PD150? what's the maximum db value I can use before losing quality?
where can I see some high ISO/db samples of the PD150?
The lens quality, is it sharp wide open?
PROGRESSIVE SCAN, On or Off?
STEADY SHOT, is it optical or electronic?
