Newb Question-All I see is black

Hi, so I imported a .mov into the timeline. I go for playback and all I see is black. Little help? Thanks in advance.

If you imported the .mov correctly, it will appear in the browser along with your other clips. To see it in the viewer, just double click on it. To see it in the canvas, drag and drop it onto the canvas or timeline and then select play or drag the playhead across it. If you do not see your .mov in the browser, then there is a problem with the import process. Good luck. JimT
