Need a help with developing script

hello,

I am a film student specializing in directing and directing of photography.
In March I am going to shoot my thesis movie, so at the moment I am fighting with my script. I came up with the story, but it is missing a spice. Is there anybody who would like to read it and brainstorm, suggest some ideas how to develop it?

Please post answers here instead of telling someone to buy and read a book. Also, send me a book and i can read it and review it and maybe even sell it in our store here.

Also, if i have a book i want to base a script on what are the first steps?
