My first upcomming short

I am currently in Pre-Production for my first "real" project. The script is done, but it is based off of Frank Millers Sin City comics.

My question is how do I abtain permission to use his stuff for a film festival?

If you have an IMDb Pro account you might be able to view Frank Miller's contact info through his page there. Otherwise I don't know how. But you should definitely contact Frank somehow. Rodriguez made a short film (that Miller later found out about and approved to be made into Sin City) so I don't think he'll say "no".

That should work...his agent will be able to contact him, or put you in contact with him.
