This year I'm doing multimediadesign and examination period of making a film is coming up soon. And I need some ideas, because I've been thinking a lot, but cant really think of anything good that's gonna work out.
The film is going to be 1- 5 min long, and is suppoces to be something about myself. I know I probably know myself better then you guys do, but that's not my problem, the problem is coming up with the type of film and just any good ideas of what I could make out of this project.
I allready wrote a script for an animation about my everyday life where the consept was to use drawings of my body and suroundings and make a bluecreen videoshot of my head that would be lot larger than my body. It was going to be funny and kind of childish aswell. And I actually got a good grade on it.
I was going to make this whole animation in After Efects, but since I've never done anything like this before and don't know after effect that much as well as I know how timetaking anoying at times, this whole thing will be for me. I was thinking it might be better to make a more regular film (mainly using videocamrea) but maybe also adding some grafic/3D to it (I think our teachers wants us to..)
I I was thinking maybe making an artfilm (that's what we call it in norway at least... excuse my english..) where I visualise things that goes on in my head. I havnt really figgured out how to do it yet though.
I can picture my self lying on the bed in my student home wich is really tiny, giving the feel of the wall coming toward me by adding some kind of virtigo effect. I'm traped in a big city with los of pleople I dont know. Looking for a hand to reach out (maybe a 3D animated one.. hehe) anyways, I don't really want to become too personal neither, so I'm thinking this also might not be a good idea..
Well, I hope this wasnt too comfusing. Now you know at leat what I have in mind so far. And ideas or comments would help me a lot. It's been such a hectic year and I'm really exhasted, but I want to make a good impression with this film..
