Music is so moving on its own. It is amazing what a good sound track can do for a movie. I think sometimes it is under appreciated in the pre production planning process by new independent filmmakers. Work with talent.
So true! I know a lot of movies that got critics' appreciation mostly because of the soundtrack, such as The Great Gatsby or Queen of the Damned (in this case, soundtrack obviously was the best part of the film)
