does anyone know if motion cature fall under animation-special effects or somting different? I am looking in to this as a job, so if you know of any good websites with information on schooling and such please list them, Thank You

Because you use motion capture to animate 3D CG and yea thats it...

I hope you know how it works, its easy to animte, but you still have to look over you're final animation with your program to make sure no polies fall out of line

There are also animation banks available online if you dont feel like recording generic motions, like walking etc...
