Hello. I'm not sure where I'm really supposed to post this. I'm doing a project for a math class and I need to know how math is used in filmmaking. Any help would be extremely appreciated!

Are you reffering to math ebing the subject of a film, or how it is used in filmmaking? If it's the latter, then you could talk about how they use logarithms to figure out the characteristic curves of film. Just search for "sensitometry".

Well, there's math all over the making of a film. Over and under cranking requires a bunch of math. Format conversions require it. Filmmaking is a very math intensive profession.
