Maine Workshops experienced?

has any one experienced the workshops on film and video?

what about the organization?, level?, did you get a demo reel?

I've been twice as a high school student. I really like it. I don't know much about the adult programs, but as kids, we worked our butts off for two weeks and it was great. Some of the teachers are really talented and the equipment is great. Just make sure that you're open-minded and ready to write, work, and write. I've been wanting to go there since I was in highschool, but couldn't because I couldn't get financial aid for a non-accredited school.

Recently, when I got out of the USAF, I looked into them again only to find out that they STILL aren't nationally accredited, and I can't use my GI Bill for tuition, nor are they able to provide a degree or transferrable credits. This is the same situation they've been in for the last 8 years or so.

They told me this time that they should be approved "in a year or so", which is the same answer I got back in 1997...
