Good evening, everyone. This is not a brazen plug attempt!
DefaultCollective is a production outfit / collaborative project based in London. We are releasing our debut album 'englander' on September 1st. In the run up to this date, there will be hyping up of the music with a series of small releases and sneak previews, both audio and visual.
From the production outfit side, there are also plans to branch out into supporting audio for video and other media. With this in mind, we are looking to kill 2 birds with one stone and pick up to 3 pieces of footage with which to put audio to. There's no budget for this project, but it will give you exposure across the pond and we will hook you up with whoever we can.
The concise style in our heads is based on The Cold War and the effects of keeping to tradition. Check John le Carre's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy/Michael Dobb's House of Cards for a loose idea of what we visualised during the making of the album. It is broader than that, though! Feel free to get in touch with any clips you think may be appropriate. We may have a lead on Video editing, but you can expect to have full responsibility of the visual aspect.
