live type question

i am wondering if there is something like live type for a windows based editing system? i really like the program and we have it at my school, but i do not feel like buying a mac, nor do i want to since i am more familiar with premiere pro. thanks

Avid Media Composer, mostly all the effects are rendered on the fly, and no need to render later. although it is good to render stuff afterwards
