Light correction

Hi.
recently shot a film at a train station and the lighting changes between a few shots. Is there any way of correcting the lightness of certain shots, to get continuity between them? (in final cut pro)
even if it means bringing the light down in the better lit shots.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

The best way to handle that would be with the 3-Way Color Corrector. Apply it, then set the black level and white balance, if needed. Here's the trick, bump up the Mids level slider tiny bits to brighten up an image without blowing it out or killing the blacks. You may even have to re-set the black level (with the eye dropper) afterwards.

By keyframing it, you can set it to change according to the changes in your footage. Here's the trick. You don't "keyframe" at the color wheels, you go to the Filters tab and keyframe that color wheel slider there.

I'm sure there are other ways to do this, but that's what I'd start with.
