Let’s talk about efficiency and workflow when working with composers and directors.

What tactics, tools have you employed to collaborate with your team and communicate with your composers, keep the track of the feedback and be on the same page?
In my team we have this endless feedback loop on music through emails/chats and need to export a different film for every piece of music we’re considering. Sometimes it’s hard to follow which film is the latest version with what feedback. Can we discuss methods and tools we can use on this to ease and shorten the work time?

You can use Discord
You simply create a server, and a Category for each project. In the category, you create channels: music, video, text, voice channel. If you work in multiple teams, you create another server for each team.
As for the latest version, you simply pin it. You can have multiple pins. You unpin it when there is a newer version and pin the new one instead.

we used discord once. But when we're working with clients from a big corporate which don't allow their computers go in different servers because of the GDPR in europe. So annoying.

There are many tools and software that you can use. How many projects do you usually work on? There is Teams, Slack, Jira, Trello, Asana, etc
We work with Asana and Trello. Sometimes with Slack. But to show the clients the updated version of video you always have to upload it somewhere. So the communication takes place on project management tools (asana, trello) and the filmversions with the music somewhere else. Do you have this problem too?

we are 4 + 2 freelancer. The problem is not really within the team but more with the clients we communicate with. They then have also a client. So it's like communicating in 2 stages.
I understand! So you need a procedure for two stages and if you have more than one client, it can get confusing. Trello could be a good tool though :) And maybe e-mail the client the final version, but keep a track on a team discussion group.
Telegram could also be helpful
