I met Laszlo and had the very fortunate experience of hearing him speak about his life and how he found his way into the inner circles of Hollywood filmmaking. Kovacs was born on May 14, 1933, on a farm about 60 miles outside of Budapest, Hungary. He was a very good natured loving person and had a passion for his art to the very end of his life here.
