Hi,
I'm Nicholas Fiorentini, an italian student (university student).
Last week I made my first experimental short movie: http://www.vimeo.com/1385921

This is an experimental short movie made in a week (from the concept to the final release). This movie doesn't want any interpretation. The poem was chosen after the filming. Finally was composed the music. The basic idea is to show some scenes before go to bed leaving an unhappy impression.
The poem is "The End of the day" by Charles Baudelaire (from "The Flowers of Evil")
The music is self-produced for this movie.

Many thanks!

I couldn't read the subtitles because the movie progress bar covers it.

Hi,
on my computer the progress bar disappears after a few seconds.
Try to move the mouse out of the video window, or if you are fullscreen out of the progress bar and options (at the right).

Anyway the english text of the poem is here:
Under a sallow light
Runs insolent, shrieking Life,
Dancing and twisting capriciously.
Then, as soon as sensual night

Climbs the horizon
Hushing all, even hunger,
Effacng all, even shame,
The Poet says to himself: "At last

My spirit like my bones
Pleads dearly for repose;
My heart is full of melancholy dreams,

And I go and lie on my back
Coiling myself in your curtains,
O restoring darkness!
("The End of the Day", Charles Baudelaire)

Bye :D
