Is somebody in the forums editing my posts? I noticed that a couple of my posts have been edited down.

I certainly haven't. Doesn't this site put a line saying who edited a post if someone does edit it?

I have edited some but not yours and my eidts have been things like taking out double exclamation marks from the subject lines and double posts from people tht do not participate in the fourms but just self promote... but I have never edited yor posts. Please let me know if you are sure they were edited.

Yeah, most of the moderation I've done in the past has been removing obvious spam posts, and removing cross-posts from inappropriate forums.

Very sorry, my mistake. When I thought paragraphs were being deleted from my posts, I was actually reading the forums between 1am and 4am, and I wasn't completely awake. No worries. Happy Moderating.
