....given half a chance.

I've got a track record of composition, music production and a bit of sound design, but I'm really looking for a chance to cut my teeth doing the whole audio thing for a short film. If you're looking for anyone to do any post production sound work, drop me an email. I'm just after a bit of experience, so it's not something I'd charge for, and I can chuck you in a bit of original music (which I definitely can do!).
Probably best for something which isn't too time sensitive, because if I screw it up (and er... that's got to be a possibility) you can throw mine in the bin and get someone else to do it.
I've got an audio studio, which is really set up for music production, but I've got all the synths, mics, compressors and sound mangling tools, and I know how to use them.
Hey, it's a freebie.

Slight oversight
I've put it on my profile, but TBH, I was kind of hoping it wasn't really too much of an issue, what with the state of global communication these days :D

Ah, I used to know Bristol and Bath quite well. I lived in Plymouth for nearly 17 years and made many visits to your part of the world.

I could work. I practice architecture from home and most of my clients (other architects and some engineers), I've never met. I guess I always thought it would be easier to sit together in front of a monitor and say, "now this is where I thought we might insert some creepy music, starting slowly and..." - you get the idea. I guess it could be done with notes or even a V/O track.

Well, that's what I thought. A combination of phonecalls, voice-over instructions, mail, email.....
I suppose it's quite a bit different from a traditional spotting session, but I'm pretty sure it could work. I've done some collaboration like this with another musician and it works pretty well.
Anyway, as I said, I'm just looking for an interesting little low budget/no budget film.
I think the work I can do should be better than most people can find locally for nothing; if the practicalities are a price worth paying, I don't know. One can only find out by trying.
When I've sold music in the past, it's either been to libraries or just a commission for 1 minute or whatever which then gets cut up and used. It's the whole thing of scoring music and sound design to a very specific brief and timeline, scene by scene that appeals to me.
