I have recently signed up to help with moderating this forum. My credentials are the following:
Film sales for 14 years to independent film makers
Final Cut Pro sales and support for 6 years
Facilites design and implementation
A strong understanding of workflow for film, HD, SD and DV projects
I have a working knowlege of the following formats which you might be working with:
P2, Varicam, HDcam, HDcam SR, D5, HDV, Digital Betacam
Currently I own and opperate a facility in Los Angeles where we do color correction, HD/SD onlines, help projects with dalilies and conform video to film projects.
Most problems that you are going to encounter can be fixed, so do not worry. It comes down to an understanding of what you want to accomplish and the best route for your project. I am excited to be a part of this community and look forward to helping you create more and tech less.
