I just stumbled on this while looking for a place to ask questions besides the fan film boards at theforce.net, heh-- this place looks cool and I just had to sign up.
I'm a student filmmaker from central illinois, currently attending a junior college. I just finished one Associates program in mass communications and I'm going to start another program in the fall (theatre); I'm planning on moving on to Columbia College in Chi-town and double-majoring.
Over the last few semesters, I've completed two short film (one a 5 minute individual project and the other a 15 minute collaborative project). In the fall and spring, I was the executive editor on our college's public access channel news magazine ("The Underground") and apart from my duties putting all of the episodes together (three-to-four per semester), I also contributed an original five-to-ten minute package to each episode.

I am currently directing a no-budget independent film with a cadre of friends from the theater and mcomm departments at my JC. The film is looking to be around 45 minutes in length and is approximately 3/4 finished (only four shooting days left!).
