Have a potentially serious problem with a Focus FS-100 firestore on which an interview was shot last week on High Def. Totally my mistake for letting it get shot in HD without much experience in the area - but I do need the footage. When I turn on the FS-100 it won't go past the Welcome page and says "Please Wait" at the bottom eternally. Won't shut off by standard way and doesn't seem to be recognized when plugged into my 20" iMac with the 6X6 pin firewire. There is apparently an update for the firestore, but I am afraid that I might lose the footage that is hopefully still somewhere in there if I download the update. Help if possible.
