Calling all filmmakers,
To Trend on Twitter is a short film following a mother’s rise to fame for having a terminally ill son. It is a sharp satire exploring society’s growing addiction to our virtual lives, the cult of modern celebrity and, at it’s heart, a mother’s grief.
To make this humbly-sized project with large intentions as bold and big as possible we want to really sell the idea of the lead character Susie's fame. To do this we need your help.
We want to film 'fans' going crazy for Susie outside big gig venues, stadiums and celeb haunts all over the world. We're looking to capture the fans' fever in short snappy scenes, you don't need lots of gear, we can work with HD footage shot on a smartphone. If you have a phone and a bunch of willing friends then come and get involved!

This project is not for profit, it's being made for charity, everyone who has contributed so far has been credited for their time and energy as their donation to bring awareness to a great cause. We will donate any proceeds to CLIC Sargent, Make a wish foundation and Starlight.
