Finally got around to upgrading (high-speed internet helps!) and noticed I can no longer get Preview from my mini-dv deck, nor will clips appear in my Bins. The deck can still be run from Log and Capture but digitized clips won't open in FCP (or directly from hard drive either). Apple says FCP 4.5 and 5 no longer recognize my deck (GV-D1000) as Sony never gave them the codes. Rather than run out and buy another deck is there some way to d/l the codes and imbed them in FCP 4.5 so it will work? (I'm using a G5 with OSX 10.3.9)
