I wanted to ask what minimal compununts are suggested for a computer that is used for editinig purposes. I have Sony vegas plat. 8 I would like to be able to work with 3 hours of video at a time. thnx.

Lots of RAM and lots of Disc Space. That's all it takes

All you need to do is look at the specs for the software and it will tell you what your minimum and recommended specs are.
