DVD that cannot be duplicated

Hello All:

I am a documentary filmmaker. Recently I completed a documentary on a sensitive issue. (About an illegal immigrant and his stay in the Country without paper work)

I am sending the DVD to some people to look at it and make comments.

I don't want anyone to take the movie from the DVD and post it online. Better safe than sorry. What type of DVD would be best for this purpose? Meaning from what kind of DVD, movie can only be viewed and not copied, duplicated or ripped.

Thanks

Hello, I'm pretty sure that all DVDs can be copied at least if someone really wanted to do it they could. If I was you I would but it online - on Vimeo for example; password protect it and make sure that the options for your film are set for unable to download. A lot of film-makers use Vimeo to send there films to people for viewing now. It's easier to watch than putting a DVD in the DVD player, and it will save you lots of $ on DVD buying and posting. plus the viewer will get to watch it on the highest possible quality.

Amy.
