I have some HDV footage I need to downconvert. I've been told that FCP's downconverting isn't very good. Any suggestions on what to use? How's Compressor's?
Not all of them. The footage was shot on a prosumer camera, but the only camera I have access to now is a consumer HDV, which I'm pretty sure doesn't have downconversion capabilities.
